Horizontal Compressors

When the pressures and capacities of an application are beyond the capabilities of a vertical compressor, Corken’s horizontal compressor is the next option. These versatile compressors are available in single and triple packed designs. Other options include single- or two-stage compression, lubricated or non lubricated compression, and single or double-acting compression.

Single packed horizontal compressors are commonly utilized in propane, butane, and similar applications where oil-free gas and leakage containment are not critical. When an application is located in a confined space with poor ventilation, or and oil-free compression is necessary, a triple packed (T-Style) compressor is recommended.

Corken offers standard compressor mountings designed for liquefied gas transfer, vapor recovery, and gas booster applications. If one of these do not meet the requirements of the application, a custom engineered, package can be supplied.
